Have you ever stopped to think that just being there, in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, is a real, genuine and bona fide liberty, and freedom from the bondages of sin and being controlled by things that are common to this world. It is a liberty and freedom that no one can take away. No matter where you are, in church, at home, or just driving down the road in your car, how great it is to feel the presents of the Lord. People have been released and set free from addictions, set free of horrible illnesses, diseases, infirmities, and even death, just simply and plainly by placing their hope and faith in Jesus Christ, not some great person, or church denomination, nor the government with all its programs. If you are a true born again Christian you have most likely been called a Jesus freak, a Bible toting idiot, crazy, fanatical, and a lot of other things. The most vital and important fact about being a Christian, however, is not only the many blessings we receive while here on this earth, although they are very important, but it is the very freedom and independence from eternal and everlasting darkness, the very sting and hurt of death itself. If you are saved by that precious Blood, that flowed from Calvary then you are free from that everlasting eternal darkness that all the ungodly believers will someday face. That is the darkness that will never end. Jesus overcame death and the grave for us. The cause for which He suffered was not His own, but for our sins, our transgressions, and our infirmities . No matter what comes upon this world in our life time we know that we have liberty through Jesus Christ our Lord, and just think soon and very soon we are going to see Jesus and to be in His presents forever, we will be able to sit at His feet and we will reap the benefit of being a child of God, which is everlasting life. There will be no more heart aches to bare, no more pain, and no more suffering. There just will not be no more. We will only have peace and joy. This is real liberty that you can only receive through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

During his years in the White House President Clinton was nicknamed with admiration as "America's first black president" by some black people. Applying the same standard of distinct politics and pandering to the special interest groups that earned Mr. Clinton that distinction, Barack Hussein Obama would have to be considered America's first Muslim president. That is the way it would seem by all the speeches and catering that he is doing to the Muslim world. This is not to say, necessarily, that Mr. Obama actually is a Muslim any more than Mr. Clinton actually is black. After his five months in office, and most especially after his just-concluded visit to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, however, a stunning conclusion seems increasingly reasonable by many people: Barrack Hussein Obama is now happy to have his Islamic-rooted middle name given a major position in his title (This was something that was not allowed during his campaign) and he has engaged in the most significant say one thing and do another since Adolf Hitler fooled Neville Chamberlain at Munich, Just before World War Two. As Christians our eyes should be ever more open to the possibility that we have a man that could be someone other than what he wants us to believe he is. Things are not as they always seem to be. We have a president that said one thing during the election and after he was elected is showing signs of being someone else. This is very scary. He presented his self, during the election, as a angel of light and hope. Most Christians saw him as a deceiver. What little we know about Obama's youth certainly suggests that he not only had a Kenyan father who was Muslim, but spent his early, formative and decisive years as one in Indonesia. We still do not even know where he was born. He is yet to produce a certified birth certificate. As the president likes to say, "much has been made" in this case by him and his campaign handlers, of the fact that he became a Christian as an adult in Chicago, under the now-notorious Pastor Jeremiah A. Wright. That is a big enough scare. All the vile speeches that was spewed out of this preacher's mouth does not come from a true believer in Jesus Christ. The Christian religion is based on loving Christ and your neighbor, not one of hate. The Muslim religion from what I see is one of hate. Does this say anything about the Rev. Right? When Mr. Obama's unbelievably advertised and publicized very loudly and firmly in his address in Cairo to what he calls "the Muslim world" and his Muslim upbringing, there is mounting evidence that the president not only identifies with Muslims, but actually may still be one himself. Consider the following indicators: The proof as, some would say, is in the pudding. He has been to two Muslim countries since he took office and has yet to set foot in Israel! That says something in itself to all Christian people and Jews alike. Mr. Obama referred four times in his speech to "the Holy Koran." Non-Muslims, even the pandering ones -- generally don't use that Islamic expression unless they want something. Now like never before is the time to be in prayer for Israel and our country as well. Obama established his first hand knowledge of Islam (without mentioning his reported upbringing in the faith) with the statement, "I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed." The word "revealed" is a illustration and a demonstration Muslims use to reflect their conviction that the Koran is the word of God, as dictated to Muhammad. He gives the Koran thumbs up, where ever he goes, and yet he made the statement when he was campaigning, before the election, that the Bible was out of date and also some parables' are outdated. He needs to be corrected. The Bible says that: " Forever Oh lord thy word is settled in heaven", "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever", "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will not pass away" and there are many more verses that will tell you there is nothing out dated in the Bible. Now as a Christian (as he claims) what part of that does our president not understand? There is nothing outdated in God's Word! Then the president made a statement no believing Christian (certainly not one that reads their Bible regularly) would ever make. In the context of what he called the "situation between Israelis, Palestinians and Arabs as offensive ," Mr. Obama said he looked forward to the day when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story, when Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) joined in prayer. (Where did Obama get that. I cannot find that in my KJV Bible!) Now, the term "peace be upon them" is relied on by Muslims as a way of blessing deceased holy men. According to Islam, Muslims believe all three were dead prophets. Of course, for Christians, Jesus is the living and immortal Son of God. He is the great "I AM" He was and is, and evermore will be the Son of The Living God. So how can Obama consider Jesus as a dead prophet. Now how is Obama looking with his Christian faith? What is his score? He sound like a Muslim more all the time. In the final breakdown, for a lot of people that are not Christian it may be beside the point whether Mr. Obama actually is really a Muslim. In the Speech and elsewhere, he has associated and united himself withsupporters or followers to what Islam calls Shariah (Islamic law based on the Koran) especially, the dangerous worldwide movement known as the Muslim Brotherhood, to a degree that makes Mr. Clinton's captivated likeness for blacks look really small by comparison. The way things are lining up all Christians need to really pray for this country, Israel, and even the entire world. We really do not know fully who this man is that is in control of our country. For example, Mr. Obama has, from his, well worded, inaugural address onward exaggerated the existing and historical importance of Muslim-Americans in the United States. In the Speech, he used the Brotherhood's estimates of "nearly 7 million Muslims" in this country, at least twice the estimates from other, more reputable sources. (Who knows? By the time Mr. Obama's friends in the radical Association of Community Organizers for Reform better known as (ACORN) carry out their trademark books (cooking the books) as deputy 2010 census takers, the allowed count may well claim by far a lot more than an 7 million Muslims are living here. Not once does he say anything about the founding fathers and their Christian beliefs. He claims to be one thing but is fast proving his self as something else. Now that the campaign glitter has gone we are seeing him as he is and it does not look good for the United States and the Christian who live here. Even more troubling were the commitments that Obama made in Cairo to promote Islam in America for not once have I heard him promote Jesus. For instance, he declared: "I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear." How about the same with Christians in Muslim countries that are being murdered and persecuted everyday for their faith? Will that soon become the standard for America? He promised to make sure that women can cover their heads, including, in all probability, when having their photographs taken for passports, driver's licenses or other identification purposes. He also pledged to permit Muslims to engage in zakat, (the Muslim faith's requirement for tithing), even though four of the eight types of charity called for by Shariah can be and are connected with terrorism. Not surprisingly, a number of Islamic "charities" in this country have been convicted of providing material support for terrorism. Yet he has proposed to stop the tax credit Americans get for tithing and giving to their local church. There is another bell ringer. Above all what is really troubling is the repositioning and change Obama has announced in The United States policy and guidelines toward Israel. While he pays lip service to the "unbreakable" bond between America and the Jewish state, the president has clearly and distinctly signaled that he intends to require the Israelis to make defensive and other tactical concessions to Palestinians to accomplish the two-state solution. In doing so, he ignores the problematic fact that both Hamas and Fatah are still determined to achieve a one-state solution, whereby the Jews will be no more. Were the Jews will be exterminated. That is a well stated fact that has been said over and over again by them and their brother in arms. (Iran) and many other Muslim countries. Obama knows this. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Who is the man that is our president. Have the people who voted for him been duped? Whether Mr. Obama actually is a Muslim or simply plays one in the presidency may, in the end is neither here nor there. What is alarming is that in aligning himself and his policies with those of Shariah followers such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the president will greatly step up the already enormous pressure on peaceful American citizens to give in to such forces and increase the outlook, abroad, that America is caving in to the Muslim demands. We must be in much prayer to the Lord or our grand children will be wearing Burkhas! So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. ( Isa 59:19) Our struggles with the powers of darkness and the same with Israel with her struggle against the Muslim world will not end in defeat. The Lord will fight this battle. Some people say that Obama is the anti Christ, some say he is the messiah, so say he was planted in this country, From his youth, to do exactly what he is doing, (TEARING THIS COUNTRY APART) and others see him for what he really is, a person who talks out both sides of his mouth, a person who says one thing and does another. Most Christians see him as a person that claims to be a Christian but his actions prove otherwise. He acts like, talks like, and in every way shows himself as a deceiver. As Christians we can see by his first 100 days in office that things do not look good. We never hear about his Christian up bringing from him. It is always about his Muslim upbringing. He has already did major damage to our country and more is to come. That is the bad news. The good news is that we serve a living God who fights our battles for us. In closing this article let us unite in prayer for the safety of our country and that of Israel. Let us pray for the soon return of our Lord (Our soon coming King). People with spiritual eyes can see that the battle is shaping up and it is now more than ever that we need to put on the full amour of God, so that we can stand in these last days.

As every true born again believer knows there is only one enemy that threatens our entire civilization and that great adversary is, of course, the old boy Satan himself. He tries many things to bring the Christian world to its end. That is his goal and his purpose. The only way for a person to see what is unfolding before our eyes in todays world is to know what the word of God says and look at it with spiritual eyes. If you are not spiritual you will not see it. With spiritual eyes you can put the pieces together so easy. The End of time Is upon us. If you are a avid Bible reader like I am then you must see as I do that time will soon be no more. As you read and think out what the scriptures say and put the pieces together then you will know as I do that things in this old world are getting critical, real critical. If you are saved, blood bought, born again Christian then you have a responsobility to "Cry aloud and spare not". We must tell the world of the soon coming events that will surely be upon us. Some people will not agree with me I'm sure. They only want to hear of God's love. Let me say this if you love the Lord you will want to spread the word "Jesus is Coming and soon!" Bible prophecy has just about run its course and is soon to be completely filled at the close of Revelation. Listen we are just about there. We need to spread the word by the written word, tracts, preaching, testifying, and just plain crying out. Let me ask the reader a question: "When you go somewhere, anywhere, do you have a tract to leave?" A well written tract is all that some people will ever see. Do you take the new testament or the Bible with you so if you have the chance you can read from the word. As a Christian do you do all that you can do to warn the lost? If we fail to warn the wicked then we will have to answer to Christ. Blessed are those that are found doing when Christ comes. It is a fact that time is winding up. The end of time is closing on us fast and I'm looking for Jesus to come in the clouds of glory any day. I feel His mighty presence as I write. I'm sixty three years old at this writing and I believe with all my heart that Jesus will come in my life time. I'm looking for it and As I write this I cry out from the depths of my soul: "EVEN SO COME LORD JESUS" I'm so glad that Jesus found me! I was bought with a price and if you are saved, born again then you were too. That price was paid on Calvary long ago. As I sit and read (I can do a lot of that now since I have all but retired) I can see a lot of things that has caused the man of sin to come quicker. It is very plain to see the world is on the broad road to destruction. Let us look at some of the things that has put this nation there. There are many but I will just list and expound on a few. When you are a Christian nation living by God's laws and then you turn from those laws you are opening the door and giving place to the devil. We are not to give place to him, but rather rebuke him in Jesus Name. As we know this just is not happening. Our God is not allowed in our schools, court rooms, or any place of importance. America openly kill unborn babies, allow homosexuals to parade down our streets, be married in our churches, and preach behind God's sacred desk. The House has passed the controversial Hate Crime Bill which will stop pastors from speaking about homosexuality as a Biblical sin, and prohibit free religious speech against the homosexual lifestyle.The Bill is called “The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act “and was introduced in the Senate last week just as the House passed its version in a 249-175 vote. The legislation is intended by its sponsors to protect homosexuals We only have to read from the Bible what happen to the nation of Israel when they turned from God's laws. We know what happen to that wicked city of Sodom. Will the same thing happen to the United States? Abortion has run rampant in our country for decades to the point that this country is now allowing full term babies to be murdered. This would not of even have been thought about seventy five years ago. It was considered wrong. What happen? My answer to that is this: "When you turn your back on God anything can happen." We, at one time, lived in a Godly society but now it is an anything goes society. When ever this happened in the Bible judgement always came and America is no different. Judgement will come. People can have the attitude: "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we may die." The only thing that is left out of that statement and their thinking was: "Then comes the Judgement." Because of abortions in this country the population and birth rate has fell to a all time level while at the same time the Muslim population is increasing at a fast rate. According to the link that I have provided , for you to view, A Muslim world, 20 years at the present rate of abortions and the declining rate of births there will be more Muslims in this country than All other religions combined. What does this tell you? If the Lord does not soon return our children and their children will be living in a Muslim world. And to go further it is the same with all the other countries of the free world. Some are nearly all Muslim now. So just like in Nehemiah's day America is fighting a battle from without and within. Most people can not see this because you have to see spiritual things with spiritual eyes. Our birth rate all over the world is dropping while the Muslim birth rate is greatly increasing. God has a plan for man and thank God I'm in that plan. But remember Satan has a plan for man also as I have tried to lay out to you. In the end God will win and Satan will be defeated so keep your heart in tune. This is just a small list of what Satan has put against us to bring us down and so far he is doing a pretty good job, but in the end we will win! He will never defeat God's plan for man and he will only be able to go so far, but we as Christians are still to fight the good fight. Even though we are to stand up to those who call wrong right and right wrong our battle is really spiritual. As I close this article i will leave you with these verses from God's word Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; ( Ephesians 6: 10-18)

As I was sitting at my desk and thinking on the things of the Lord a great sadness came upon me. I love Jesus Christ with all my heart and I will always follow him because He is the way, the truth, and the light of the world. The sadness  came upon me when I thought of how this nation is turning its back on our Savior. The fact that we have a president who in his first 100 days in offices has nearly destroyed all that the Christian Conservatives stand for and have stood for with just a stroke of the pen. He has his liberal agenda but there is also a dark cloud that is consuming the white house and congress. It is evil. There is no other way of putting it. That dark cloud has been there but now it is growing by leaps and bounds. Those of you with spiritual eyes can see it as well as I can. There is a darkness spreading over our land. A evil satanic darkness that must be realized by all people.

Christian conservatives have toiled for more than a generation to make small, step-by-step 

breakthroughs in boosting and promoting pro-life and pro-family programs and ideas. They have prayed, spoke out for the cause of protecting human life and its values.  In the first 100 days in office, Barack Obama, with the help of strong left wing majorities in  Congress, has done more to weaken those advances than any other president or politician during a similar time period. People who promote pro-life and pro-family ways have faced hard times in the past. Now we are called by some members of his cabinet extremist. These radical social policies started under Presidents Jimmy Carter. But there’s something different about Obama’s agenda.  Look closely and it’s clear that Obama and his allies want much more than to secure more rights and handouts for their liberal voters.  Their goal is they also want to compel all Americans to pay for and accept these policies. We as Christians can not set aside our core values and beliefs. We have to keep on the firing line and fight the good fight against this evil that goes against the word of our God. We must never except these polices.

Consider “homosexual rights.”  Obama wants to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, which allows states not to recognize same-sex marriage performed in other states. In other words he is trying to get a law passed that says we have to recognize homosexual life style as a excepted way of life. Obama and his congressional allies also are pushing hard the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.  This would punish employers who differentiate against homosexuals in hiring practices. Is this government control or not? Then there are so-called hate crimes laws, which would criminalize “hate speech,” including speech critical of homosexuality.  The White House states that Obama “will strengthen federal hate crimes legislation…and increase hate crimes protection…”  Congress is now at work on hate crimes legislation that could lead to prosecuting those who speak out against homosexuality.  Christian pastors and conservative politicians in Europe and Canada have been fined and jailed under similar laws.  Where is our freedom of religion? Has it gone out the door when Obama came in? As Christians our stand should be this: We hate the sin of homosexuality. It is a sin, But we have a love for the homosexual. They have a soul that will spend eternity somewhere.  How is that a hate crime? The word of God plainly condemns that sin. I will firmly stand behind what the word of God says about homosexuals, not what the government says is right. I will believe what is Biblically correct, not what is politically correct.  I firmly believe with all my heart that any nation that promotes and condones this sin is in its last stages of decay. Obama wants us to condone homosexuals but at the same time says that we are not a Christian nation any more, but we are a nation of citizens. This sounds exactly like the old Roman empire in Jesus' day.

Barack Obama’s assaults on the family have been felt most deeply by its most least protected members of our society:  the unborn and the elderly.  Not many days into his presidency, Obama overturned by executive order, the policy, which said organizations receiving taxpayer funds could not  promote or perform abortions overseas.  He also said he “looks forward” to giving taxpayer dollars to the United Nations Population Fund  which promotes abortion overseas and supports China’s sinful one-child policy.
In early March Obama overturned President Bush’s executive order limiting federal funding of human embryonic stem cell research. While Obama’s decision was expected, it was also curious in that it came at a time when effective and moral alternatives  are providing treatments and cures to scores of ailments.  In a memorandum issued on the day he overturned Bush’s limitations, Obama stated that his move would restore “scientific integrity” to government decision-making. While he is restoring that he is destroying the Christians morals of this country.  But, due to the advances of alternative and ethical forms of stem cell research, many leading scientists believe there is no longer a need to have human embryos for research.  Obama’s decision showed that without  that he does not intend to allow ethical science to get in the way of advancing his radical anti-life agenda.  Nor will he allow taxpayers off the hook for paying for it.  President Obama’s most blatant assault on the family was his decision to get rid of a regulation that gives the right to doctors and other health workers not to take part in abortion or sterilization, a move that is opposed by the overwhelming majority of Americans, including most doctors.  This will mean if you are a Christian it will come down to your profession or your salvation. How sad that this nation has gone that far. I believe with all my heart that we are just a stones throw from the coming of the Lord. Even so come Lord Jesus!

On physician-assisted suicide, the Obama administration has quietly taken steps toward forcing all Americans to comply with its liberal view of human life.  The stimulus bill included $1 billion for research into creating guidelines to direct doctors' treatment of difficult high cost medical problems. You know what that means and what that will lead to! This created an Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology within the Department of Health and Humans Services.  Part of the new office’s duty will be to “reduce health care costs resulting from inefficiency, medical errors, inappropriate care, duplicative care, and incomplete information.” Thanks to the Obama , government employees may soon have more to say about your medical treatment that you receive than you or your doctor. This is wrong and should not be but it is coming.

The most extreme elements of President Obama’s agenda involve compelling all Americans to conform with the Left’s radical views on the meaning of sexuality and human life.  But there are a host of other actions that Obama has taken that should concern anyone who cares about the family. Few things have been as hard hit by the recession as charitable organizations.  But Obama recently reduced in the Fiscal Year 2010 budget the amount that some families can deduct from their income taxes for charitable giving. Never has this been done before! This move disproportionately affects religious organizations and nonprofit organizations , many of whose existence depend on charitable giving.  By transferring wealth and power from religious and community-based programs to the government , our community organizer president cuts away vital lifelines for those vulnerable citizens who depend on the community help he at one time endorsed.  This is not all the list of Barack Obama’s assaults on human life and family during his first 100 days in power. This is no time for Christian conservatives to stop standing up for what is right. We need to be in must prayer about these things. Millions of Americans who oppose Obama’s radical agenda either failed to vote last November or voted for Obama with the false belief that he would govern as a moderate. We must pray always for God to intervene in these matters. The prayers of a righteous man avails much. We must put our faith 100% in Jesus Christ. He is the answer to these problems.

Given the speed and determination of attacks on these issues important to conservatives, not to mention the important battles that are coming, and possible Supreme Court appointments -- pro-family conservatives need to step up efforts to educate Americans on what is happening and on the importance of voting their values and their faith. We must realize the importance of calling on God in prayer. It is beyond me how any professing Christian can vote for and support a man that goes against everything that a Christian should stand for. True Christians do not do that. The love of many will wax cold! The true Christian will stand up for what is right and moral. A question that all Christians can ask their self is this: "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?" I can tell you this he would be against the polices in this article and if you call yourself a Christian then you must take a stand against the very things that would tear down our country and goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. No matter what our race, sex, or age is we must stand for the Christian principles that we believe in. We can not hate Obama but we as Christians must hate the ungodly things that he stands for and is promoting. We must pray for this man that he might be saved and turn from the way he is going. With God all things are possible! Only believe!

It is amazing to me how the family unit has changed over the last fifty years. As I sit and think about it I realize that a lot of our countries internal problems revolve around the structure of the family. It is the family unit(s) that form our communities, it is the communities that form the counties, it is the counties that form the states, and it is the states that form our Republic which is called THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Just like a tree that is rooted and grounded in fertile moist soil brings forth must fruit, so will a nation that is rooted and grounded in traditional family values bring forth much fruit. Now that I laid out the ground work for this article here is the rest of the story. Children can be trained in the home better than anywhere else. The church, schools and other organizations may have a supportive role in assisting, but not supplanting or superseding the family. The godly teachings of a mother and father are the most important because the children look to them for guidance. In the history of our country the family unit was and still is one of major importants because in that unit we were taught the ideas that would last a life time. We were taught to honor our mothers and fathers, to care for them in their old age, to respect the police officer, to respect adults, and to be obedient to our parents. We were taught to conserve, to be resourceful and to honor our country. We were taught at a early age how to work, how to save for the things that we wanted. We took care of our fathers, mothers, and grandparents. We gave them honor. We did for them and cared for them. We lived by a decent code of conduct that made America what it was and still can be. Most of the time there was a trade, a craft, or some type of working skill passed down to the children. What children learn in the family unit will last their life time. But most of all we were taught how to pray and to put our trust in God. Now we are told we are no longer a nation of Christians. In todays world we, for the most part, have no family structure or discipline in the family unit. Everybody does what he or she wants to with no respect for others. Now a lot of fathers, mothers and grandparents are put off into nursing homes and just forgot. For the most part there is no respect for our police officers, or the general public. We now live in a throw away society that for the most part wants someone else to keep them. Someone else to pick up the check and to pay the bill. This is what our society has come to. Those principles of hard work and honesty have fell by the way side. All because there is for the most part no family structure and no more family unit. We are even told by some of our government leaders that: "It takes a village to raise a child". My friend all it takes is a father and mother who will take the time to raise their kids the right way. One of the problems is that nearly half of the homes have no father in them. No roll model for kids to pattern their life by. No one is there to say this is wrong or this is right. There is no one in most homes anymore to tell their kids "GOOD JOB, GREAT REPORT CARD, GOOD GAME" or to give the encouraging words that most kids want to hear. when children are young they look for guidance from someone and if the parent does not give it then someone else will and most of the time it is not good, because it will come from the street and what they are getting from the streets will and is now destroying the future of this country. When you are not taught the very basic ideals of how to work, why you have to work, how to take care of yourself, the right way to do things, and to give honor were honor is due, you will always depend on other people and the government for your daily needs. This is not the Bible way and this was not the American way. There is only so much wealth that this country can spread around. Instead of spreading the wealth around lets start spreading the concept of good work habits and not getting our wants and needs mixed up. Let us teach the concepts of the traditional family as it was years ago. That will make for a better America and a safer America. What ever you are taught in the early stages of life will always be with you. If you are taught Christian principles, good work habits, good moral habit, and what responsibilities are then you will be better off in the later years of your life. You will not want hand outs when you can work because God will supply your needs. The "GREAT SOCIETY" that was started in the 1960's was and still is one the the biggest factors that is causing the family unit to crumble. Food stamp programs, government relief checks, free housing, and many other benefits that was put into place by the great society has caused people to grow up expecting the same hand outs with no thoughts of working and getting a job. Please do not get me wrong there should be help for the people that need it, but the problem is 90% of the people who get these benefits are capable of working and providing for their self. This is all they know because that is what was taught in the family home. If you are sick, elderly, or disabled then you should be helped. This program of a "GREAT SOCIETY" has caused undue hardships for the working Americans and caused a great amount of problems for the family and its structure. If we want to chance the direction that America is headed in and have a stronger America then the change must start at the roots of this nation and that is the family unit. A father and mother who teach their Children what is morally right, the concept of personal responsibility, a love of God, country, and a love for man kind will produce much fruit. This is what America needs and must have to stop the decay of our nation. We need to look no farther. We take care of this problem and all the other internal problems family of this country will take care of their self. The enemy from within will always be your greatest adversary. When the family and this country as a whole realize that it is not the great society that is going to help them, but the great "I AM" is the one who will provide then we will see a turn around in this country that will shock the world. All of this starts with the right training in the home. Just like a family without Christ, a country without Christ will not stand. It will be like the house built on the sinking sand, it will not stand. For one last thought before I end this article I would like to give you an example of what I'm writing about. I want to use my family as an example. Not to put them or myself on a pedestal but for only an example. My great grand mother and grand father instilled into my father how to work, and what was right, moral principles, and my grandmother taught him about the Lord. These principles were handed down to me and from me they were handed down to my children and now my grand kids are being taught the same thing, because for over four generations and even longer our family has been rooted and ground in values that make good and moral Christians with good work habits. For this country to be great we must train up a child in the way they should go and trust me if you do it will always be with them.

These Troubles Times In Troubled times such as theses many people are forced to scale back, to take jobs that pay way less (if they can be found), do with out certain things and just live a lot different in order to survive. There is no exception to the pressures of this day and time. The only exception is the way a person handles these uncertain times. Some people will resort to violence and crime, some families will split up over money and bills. It will bring confusion in many homes turning man and his wife against one another. Many a hurtful words will be spoke.These kind of things ought not to be and they always happen in times like we are experiencing now. Some Christians will be sorely tested and some will come through these troubled times with a mountain moving faith. But what happens if you do not have that mountain moving faith? Then that mustard seed faith will provide, Because that is were all mountain moving faith comes from. It starts as a grain of mustard seed. All great men of faith went through trying times and they all started with that mustard seed faith. Until Jesus comes and makes me whole I will not be denied! That means health, finances, food, shelter, and all my needs. He is my great provider and yours! I believe that all Christians should keep their thoughts in perspective and rely on the teachings that we find in the Bible and remain solidly focused on them. The scriptures plainly tell us in Philippians that "Our God will supply all our needs." With that in mind our focus on the times that we live in today should be steadfast and not change as long as the Lord tarries no matter how difficult the economic times may appear to be. We must be true to our faith through it all. In other words in times like theses we must not only talk the talk, but we must walk the walk. God said in his word that He "would not fall thee or forsake thee" Let us remember this that He is a God in the valley as well as a God of the Mountains. Now is the time to draw nigh to God and call upon His name. I believe that time is winding up and it is near the coming of the Lord. Who knows what we all must face before Our Lord appears. I can say this with all confidence my eyes is on Jesus for I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand. I, with all my heart, firmly believe that we are living on the fringes of the tribulation, in the time when we are to look toward heaven for our Lords Coming. All we have to do is read the many prophecies that are in the Bible, ones that are full filled and the ones that are yet to be full filled to know that our Lords coming is soon and very soon.

We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition . We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Amen! The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India , Africa and Korea . Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. Have you ever took stock of your life? Where you have come from and where you are going to? That is something that everybody one day thinks about. What road are we taking in our life? Are we on that broad road to destruction or are we on the narrow road that leads to Heaven and eternal life. This is a decision and a choice that all will have to make. "CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE" We have this choice to make. That broad road of sin leads to the destruction of your soul. It will take you to a eternal hell were you will be tormented for ever and ever. Some people will say that this is very strong words but that road to destruction is widening itself more everyday and more people are on that broad way to destruction. Hell is enlarging itself and I do not want anybody to go there. One of the most important decisions in our lives is where we are going to spend eternity. I want to travel that narrow road that takes me to Glory. We all have to walk the pathway of life. It is how we walk that path is what makes the difference in the end. That way starts with believing that The Bible is the very word of God and in this Book of Books is found the way (the only way) to eternal life. It tells us that Jesus is the way. We must believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is our road map for our journey and we must believe that it is He who holds our hand. As we travel down this narrow road we will know: Jesus is the master of the sea.: He is the one who can calm the storms in your life.Jesus is the bread of life: He is the source of all our spiritual needsJesus is the living water: In Him we will never thirst again.Jesus is the great "I AM": He always was and always will be Touching Jesus is all that matters: No matter what the problem Jesus will supply all your needs: No matter what they areTo trust and obey: For there is no other wayWhen God said, THOU SHALL NOT: That is what He meansHe has gone to prepare a place for us: His word tells us so He is our soon coming king: A righteous king There is a Heaven to gain and a hell to shun: The Choice is ours The problem is most people in this world do not realize these truths that come from God's Word. They are on that broad road to destruction which is caused by not believing in the truths found in the scriptures. Most people have the attitude that: Let us eat, drink, be merry, for tomorrow we may die. They give no thought of what happens after they die. But this is something that all people must think about and realize there is a judgment day coming. There is no high road or low road to heaven. It is only the narrow road that will get you there. There is only one door and one way to heaven. That way is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Trying any other way will put a person on that broad road to hell. If You want "PEACE IN THE VALLEY", no more sickness, no more sorrow, no more sadness, then take that narrow road and enter into the rest that is promised to all those who believe.

 

There is not a lot said about Stephen in the Scriptures, but what is said about him is remarkable. We read in the Bible were he was full of faith and power. he also did great wonders and miracles among the people. Just by reading those facts we can see Stephen was controlled by and filled with the Holy Ghost and he was also full of knowledge. He spoke the truth with power and this did not go over well with the church world of that day. In other words the Jews of that day. They resisted his wisdom and also the spirit by which he spoke. In other words they were resisting the Holy Ghost. As they kept looking at him they saw his face as it had been the face of a angel. In other words they saw God. God let his Glory shine through Stephen to let all know that he was speaking the truth.This tell us that Stephen lived close to God. Stephen spoke and preached the truth. Just like God’s anointed and called out preachers of today Stephen was resisted and opposed by the church leaders and the church world of that day. No matter what the time or age, people have and always will reject God’s word and His Prophets.

Let me go just a little further with this. As most of you know I have a conservative Web page called: “Conservative View Point”  This page deals with conservative values and I mostly get favorable comments from my articles. My last post on that page was feed to a local news paper that most of my conservative commentaries go to. The last article was about Judge Roy Moore and the poem that he wrote about God and this country. The poem had great merit and deserved to be read by many people as possible. I received more negative mail, {you could call some of it hate mail} about this man and what he said in his poem than all the articles that I have wrote in six months. As I sat and thought about the negative comments I realized something that in my spirit I already and always did know.

THE BIGGEST PART OF THE WORLD HATES CHRIST! They do not want to hear the truth. Same as in Stephen’s Day. It was not my latest article that I posted or Judge Brown that these people hate. It is Jesus Christ who they hate! If you read the poem that Judge Brown wrote he told the truth. The sad thing is most of the world does not want to hear the truth. We must remember that if we think the world hates us remember they hated Christ first! People hated Paul, Peter, Stephen, The Disciples, John The Baptist, and many of the Old Testament men of God. Many gave their live for the Master.

I will most likely get some negative feedback from what I’m about to say but I feel strongly as though I must say it. Most people that profess to be Christians hold back when they should be going forth. For example when they took Christ to be tried Peter followed but did not speak out and even denied the Lord. We have Jesus haters given their nasty and negative remarks about the truth, but Christians say nothing. it is time for Christian people to stand up and be counted. It is a evil world that we live in.

Don’t just say that you are a Christian. Do the things that promote Jesus. Send Christian email to everybody on your email list. Have them resend it to everybody on their email list. Give honor where honor is due. We must show this sinful world that as Christians we are united for our Lord.

      

Is He the Dooms Day Preacher Or The Watchmen on The Wall?

It is a sad world we live in when Christian people use the term a dooms day preacher. Theses words: "Dooms Day Preacher" only show the true Christians how far we, as a nation, have turned from God. I wonder if Jonah was called a dooms day preacher. I wonder if preachers of years gone by were called dooms day preachers? Some preachers today are  called this by sinners and some Christians who want to hear a smooth Gospel. The reason is they do not want to hear the whole truth. They do not want to hear anything that goes against or disrupt their way of life. Sure we all want to hear about God's love for us and we want to hear the things that He has done or will do for us, but what about the rest of the story? What will happen if you die in a life of sin? Does God close His eyes to this or is there a judgement? Is there a doomsday as some would call it? Yes there is!

I would rather call these preachers  "Watchmen on The Wall"  These preachers warn you of dangers that will trap you into a world of sin and put you on a course for the burning pits of hell. They will let you know that HELL is a place where the damned will suffer ever lasting torment. It is a place where the ungodly will never cease to exist.  They will call sin what it is "SIN". They will tell the world what the end results will be. This is what people just do not want to hear, but it is a fact of life. It is the very word of God. We have a choice to make. Heaven or hell, sin or righteousness, There is no in between. We need more preachers today to preach repentance to America. America is in need of a urgent wake up call. You can call it dooms day preaching if you want but if this nation does not turn to God and soon it will be dooms day for This country and  all that have rejected God. This country as a whole needs to hear the repentance messages over and over again by Spirit filled preachers. Only God can turn this country around!

 

I love to tell the story of Jesus and His love. But there comes a time when Christians have to stop taking just the bottle and eat some meat. There is a time and a season when sinners need to be aware. There comes a time when this nation as a whole needs to be aware of the consequences  of such sins as Homosexuality, the killing of unborn babies, and the list could go on.

Some people will say that all a preacher needs to preach and teach is God's love and that He wants to save us. That is find, we need to know all there is to know about our Savior, but there comes a time when the sinner and some Christians has to know why Christ loves them so much, why He died on Calvary for them, and what the people are being saved from. Not only are we to hear  "How beautiful Heaven must be" but the hell fire and brimstone also. John The Baptist said, "REPENT yea for the kingdom of heaven is at hand "  When Jesus started His earthly ministry what was His first recorded words? Jesus said, "REPENT" the kingdom of God is at hand! {Matthew 4:17}.  He also said "For there shall be great tribulation, such was not since the beginning of the world" {Matthew 24:21}and then again he said twice in the Gospel of Luke: " Repent or you will like wise perish."Peter said in the book of Acts to, " REPENT" and be baptized. There has to be someone to tell you what to repent of and what you are sorry for. That comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. We must hear all the Gospel {The Good News} for faith to arise in our soul. Most Spirit filled preachers wait on the Lord for their sermon and what they preach is from God and is inspired by The Holy Ghost. Just remember: " The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Remember the same knife that spreads the jam on the bread also slices that bread!

I'm reminded that when God sent the prophet Jonah to that great city of Nineveh to cry against it Jonah was sent to preach against the wickedness. In other words, as some people call it today, Jonah was sent to preached a doomsday message,  in other words repent or else. Because of that message there was more than one hundred twenty-thousand persons that repented. These people could not discern between right and wrong,  "Between their right hand or their left hand" That is just about the way it is in this country today. When you will kill a unborn child in the womb, but pass laws to save baby whales then something is wrong. When you say that it is wrong to put a convicted killer of the innocent to death, but it is okay to kill a innocent unborn baby then I say you can not discern from your left hand of your right hand, you can not tell right from wrong. 

The message was preached by Jonah because of God's Love for Nineveh. Because of God's love for this country we need more preachers who will stand up and preach repentance. This country is just about ready to be over thrown. Laugh if you want but doomsday, as some call it, is fastly approaching. The greatest to the least in this country need to humble theirselfs, repent and call on God.

We can look at the Book of Revelation and see very quickly what is going to take place on this earth and the end of all sinners. Why was this Book put in the Bible? Can we call it the dooms day book? The book tells of Heaven and hell, the good and the bad, If this was not to be preached why was this book put in the cannon of scriptures? Why are we told in the Scriptures that:  You reap what you sow.

We can read in The Old Testament of Sodom and how it was destroyed and why it was destroyed. Was this a dooms day story or a warning for  all of us to clearly to see. It could be if this story, straight from The Book, was preached from behind the pulpits, them maybe, just maybe, there would not be the homosexual problem in this country that we have today, but instead we have homosexuals standing behind the sacred desk. What a shame. Will this country's end be like Sodom?

Then we see in the scriptures that we are to  "Cry aloud and spare not" In other words do not hold back but show the people their transgressions and their sins. Let the people know that they have a clear choice. A devil's hell for the sinner or a place prepared by a loving Savior for those that love Him.

I do not know about you but when I go to church I want to feel that convicting power of The Holy Ghost telling me what is wrong in my life or what I can do to make it better. How many times have you heard a Message in church and not liked it or say you do not like that kind of preaching, but when you get home you are convicted in your heart  and then you think about it and realize the preacher was right. Sometimes the true hurts like that two edged sword.

 

We need in this country today preachers, such as Jonah, who will tell it like it is. Call sin what it is and preach repentance, not some kind of prosperty, or name it and claim it message. This country and the world needs Jesus Christ more than ever. We do not need twelve steps to a new life. What we need is Jesus Christ and preachers that will stand up and preach the truth. If we do not start preaching the truth soon we are going to see things that we never would have thought of as being. It is coming my friend and you can call it dooms day talking if you want, but its coming.

Call this a dooms day commentary if you want, but what this nation needs is a national day of repentance, mourning, and a coming back to God, forsaking the sins that caused this nation to be in the position that it is in, asking forgiveness from a merciful Savior. This country must be like that great city of Nineveh and everyone from the least to the highest must cry out for forgiveness and repent!

 

 

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow: This world seems like it is spinning out of control to the most people. As Christians we know and put our faith in that fact that our God has got the whole world in His hands. Remember that song? He's got you and me brother in His hands, He's got you and me sister in His hands. From the smallest sparrow to the largest problem in this world our Lord is in control. We as His followers must put our trust in that fact. I know if His eye is on the sparrow then I know He watches over me. He's got the whole world in his hands. For He is the Creator of this world and everything that is in it. As this world, spins, rock and rolls, and goes in its evil ways we are to take no thought for we know who holds tomorrow. If we are Christians we can see how things are lining up. We can see the ever increasing evil in this world. We can see more and more prophecies being full filled and we know that the end of time is near. Even so come Lord Jesus!

As I read the Word of God I see through out His word where He supplied the needs of His people. In the New Testament He miraculously fed the multitude twice with a lot being left over. The people's needs were abundantly met. His word tells us that He will never leave us or forsake us. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. What comforting words to think about in this day that we are living in. If we live for Jesus, seeking to do His will, we have the guarantee of God's Holy Word that He will provide for us, all of our needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus. I can say this that through out my life God has always honored His Word in my life. Through many dangers toils and snares I have already come and my Lord has always kept me safe until the storm passes over. He will do the same for you, just trust and obey, for there is really no other way.

I'm reminded of the Hebrews as they left Egypt. His presence was with them by day in a cloud and  of a night by a pillar of fire. They were fed, had water to drink, and their clothes never wore out. Do you remember the three Hebrew children that were put into the fiery furnace? The ones who put them in the furnace was consumed, but the three Hebrews clothes did not even smell like fire. Why? Because there was someone in that furnace with them! Daniel was put in the lion's den because of his faith. What happened? He walked out without a scratch on him. Elisha was fed by ravens, got water from a brook and was his for safety by our Lord. The twelve disciples were in danger of sinking in the mist of the storm, but Jesus came to them. What did all these people have in common? They were all in the hollow of His hand! Are you in the hollow of His hand?

What does it mean to be in the hollow of His hand? It means to be in a place protected until the storm passes over, Where there will be no evil to come upon us.  It means a place where you can feel His grace and His presence. It is a place where we can feel safe and secure. It is a place of divine protection. It is our hiding place. It is a place where we know we will never be snatched away. It is a place that no matter what happen in or to this country we will be safe. Safe because we will be in the hollow of His hand.

If we are followers of Christ, truly born again saved people then we know this, that no matter what the future holds we will be safe and secure: "WE ARE HELD IN THE HOLLOW OF HIS HAND!" What comfort! What Joy!

                 What shall I do then with Jesus who is called Christ?

This is one question that has been asked down through the centuries by many of a person. There is no neutral ground here. No middle of the road as Pilate tried to do by washing his hands of Christ. You will either accept Him as your Savior or you will reject Him. A persons answer to this question will decide where that person will spend eternity.

Some of the Jews of that day made their choice. They wanted Him crucified. They rejected Him as their Savior and their Messiah. For this rejection their country was, later, destroyed and they were spread all over the world not to return to their homeland again until 1948. The Jews are still returning until this day. Even though Jesus was rejected by the Jewish people He still loves them until this day. They are His people.

This brings us up to today's world and the people that live in it. It makes no difference if you are Jew or Gentile, the color of your skin, if you are a male or female, you have to make a decision. it is the most important decision of your life. Sad to say that most of the world has made their decision. They have rejected Christ. The majority of our nation has rejected Christ. Recent news reports and surveys indicate that religion is on the decline in this country. This is so sad when this country was founded on Christian principles.

Most of the people of this nation have rejected their heavenly leader and have gave their allegiance to Satan by electing leaders to govern this country that have put God out of just about everything. His laws, His word, His teachings, and His true preachers are being rejected. He is being rejected for what our leaders consider to be politically correct ideas. They have made their choice of who they want to serve.

A few people, a remnant, of this nation want to be Biblically correct and they look to Christ. They want to live by His laws, His Teachings, and by His word that is recorded in our Holy Bible. They believe and accept the pure raw word of God. They lift up a standard and publish it. God’s standard of holiness can not be compromised. The bottom line is this: As American Citizens do we want to be Biblically Correct or Politically Correct?

This nation has a choice to make. They have a decision to make and that decision is this: WHAT SHALL I DO THEN WITH JESUS WHO IS CALLED CHRIST? Shall we, too, refuse The Lord?

As this Easter draws near let us as the followers of Christ earnestly pray for this nation to return to God. For our leaders to once again to return to the Book of Books for their instructions and laws. Let us pray for a revival that will sweep over our land and renew us all! We do not need another Boston tea party or an armed revolution. We need a coming home revival that revives this nation and puts us back in fellowship with God. As I close this commentary I want to leave with you a word straight from God’s Word that is just as true in our time as it was centuries ago in Israel.

Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, ??the faithful God ?who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9)

 WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE: 

There is a lot said in these few words. The Jews {the church of that day} has brought a women to Jesus caught in the very act of adultery and broad casted her sin not only to Jesus but to everybody else that was there. They wanted her punished and Jesus saw their evil hearts. As Jesus wrote on the ground I can see the crowd gathering. Sinners were most likely gathering also and they were watching what the outcome would be. The people that brought her to Jesus had not the love of Christ in their hearts. There was no love there. If they were really trying to uphold their laws they would have brought the man also, but they did not. Did you every stop to think why they did not bring him.

For a long time I always wondered about that. To accuse the women and not the man when they were caught in the very act {that means they were together} was wrong. The Bible does not say why the accusers did not bring the man but I wonder if he could maybe have been someone of importance and the women was not. Could that have been the reason? With Jesus everybody is important. The law said that both should have been stoned. By these facts it tells me that the accusers of this women had another motive in mind for bringing  this women alone to Jesus and not the man. That is just about on the same level as half truths. Being half right.

Jesus just plainly told her to go and sin no more. He did not say to her sit in the back of the church, He did not say you can not sing in the choir, He did not say you can not ride on the church bus, He did not say you can not be in the prayer group, He did not say your name is coming off the church books, He did not say you can not have fellowship with me. Jesus just simply said go and sin no more.

There are a lot of Christians in our churches that will do the same thing to other Christians today as the Jews did to this women that have fell by the way side and cause even more damage to that Christian's walk with the Lord before they can ever be restored to fellowship. It is true that we need discipline in the church but we need the love of Jesus more. When the sin nature causes a person to sin he is weak and needs the prayers of the brother and sisters of the body of Christ to pray for them, talk to them, and do what is necessary to bring them back into fellowship with the saints. This is scripture, we must do this, but in some churches it does not happen.

The Christian that has fell is most of the time put out of the church and then looked down on. This is a great wrong. People who live in glass houses need not throw stones. The church members need to remember that we all have sinned and was saved by God's amazing grace. They should also remember that they could fall from grace and need that same prayerful support and brotherly love that they should be giving. No one is above falling. That is not to say we are not to cry aloud and share not. The scriptures say that there will be a great falling away and the Church world in general cares very little about that falling away, because most of the church world is falling away from the truth of God’s Word.

I remember years ago that a well known preacher who preached the gospel all over the world fell from grace and almost right away he was put out of the domination that he preached in and was considered a out cast.That preacher stood before his large congregation and the TV audience and asked their forgiveness and asks publicly forgiveness from the Lord. He truly, very humbly, repented with tears streaming down his face. Now we know, according to the scripture, that the Lord forgave this preacher, but the church world, as a whole has to this day has not forgive this man. They  gashed at him and tried to destroy him and came close to doing it. Not only did the world try to make a big joke out of him but the church was right in there with them.

I believe that it was jealousy that caused them to do that and not the sin he committed. Jealousy will get the Christian no where. We must remember that we all have a calling and a place in the body of Christ and we need not covenant someone else's position in the body of Christ.  The church world only used the excuse of the sin to do their dirty work. The truth be known they were already out to get him. This preacher is now back on his feet, his sin forgiven and covered by the blood of our Savior. He is preaching the gospel and telling the truth. It is the truth that sets you free! His ministry is now growing again by leaps and bounds. I love this brother and listen to him every chance that I get. Now I want to make it clear he did sin, he did repent and also I want to make it clear not all the church world turned on him. There are many brothers and sisters that did the right thing. They held him up in prayer. The closer walk that you have with the Lord the more a person wants to do the right thing. How close are you walking with the Lord? We all, including myself, need a closer walk, I need a closer walk with the Master.

What is the right thing? We do not have to go very far to answer that question. In the book of James we are plainly told that there is only one lawgiver that is able to save and destroy, who are you to judge another? in others words: "Who do you think you are?" This is the same deal as the women caught in adultery. They tried to destroy her also, but because of the love of Jesus she was saved from her accusers and so was this preacher of whom I spoke. Our mission as Christians in this world is to be like Jesus, to seek out the lost and love them, bring them back into the fold, not try to destroy them. Jesus gave many parables concerning this subject. He also asked in one of the Gospels who would have one lost sheep that has gone astray and would leave the ninety and nine and go after the one that was lost?  Listen my friend, Christians who fall away are not throw aways. They are loved by the Lord and we must go after them and help them to become keepers.  Keepers of God’s word and over comers of the weight that so easily besets them. 

However casting stones seems to be part of the church world anymore. Not for all of it but for the most of it. We do not need stone throwers in the church. We need people who has compassion for the lost and a genuine love for Christ in their hearts. Let me go just a little further with this. Judas betrayed the Lord and sold Him for thirty peaces of silver, but Jesus did not cast him away. Jesus did not say you are going to betray me so therefore you will not eat this last meal with me. Judas was one of the twelve. If you will carefully read the scriptures Jesus gave Judas the chance to repent even though Judas did not repent. Jesus loved him and would have forgiving him instantly of that great sin if Judas only asked forgiveness. The bottom line here is my brothers and sisters we need to be more forgiving as Christ was and still is and not so bent on sending our fallen brother or sister to hell. We are to speak out against sin,tell the world what sin will do to them. We are to hate the sin, but we are to love the sinner and yes even our fallen brother or sister. Look at these verses;

Gal 6:1  Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Eph 4:2  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

2Ti 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Tit 3:2  To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men

    

 is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy
sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

As I was riding down the road a few days ago I was listening to a preacher over the radio. He was not a local preacher but he seemed sincere and you could tell that his love for the Lord was real, but as I listen to him he seemed very confused on the subject of healing. He was telling the radio audience that even though salvation was for today deliverance from demons and healing was not. I'm sorry to say that I do not agree with him and I find him in error concerning this. There are a lot of sincere born again Christians that do not believe in healing for today. Everybody reading this article might not agree with me when I say that he and a lot of Christians are in error but let me continue with my thoughts, my feelings, and observations about the subject. First off I believe the Bible when it says: "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever!"
If Christ healed people and raised them from the dead when He was on earth, if Peter and Paul could pray for someone and they would be delivered then why is it not the same today as this preacher and some proclaim? My God is able and He will deliver the sick and the ones that are in bondage. I do not just believe in just some of the promises of God, but I believe in all of the promises.

I'm not only backing up what I believe by what the word of God says, but I have firsthand knowledge about the subject. In my life time I have saw people healed and set free by the wonderful power of God and it was no make believe thing that was staged to get people to come to church, it was real. The power came down. Yes there are counterfeits, like there is with anything, but if you are a true Christian you will not be deceived! Let me give you just a few examples of Our God at work in my life time. I was a witness to the following demonstrations of God's healing power and for ever more I will testify of it for his glory. Let The Redeemed Say So!

It was in the very early 1960's when I was going to a very small church called Taylor's Woods. I was around fifteen years of age. On one Sunday my grandfather was in church and he started to have a massive heart attack. He was turning blue in the face and gasping for air and there was no guessing what was happening. My Grandfather was just about gone when Brother Jack Baynard, who was the pastor at that time, left the pulpit and went back to the pew where my grandfather was and prayed for him to be healed in Jesus' Name and right away the color came back into his face and he started to breath normal. Within a matter of seconds he went from being almost dead to very much alive. I witnessed this and it was for real and you could feel the presence of God in that church! Let me say this, silver and gold Brother Baynard did not have much, but such as he did have he gave. What he gave that day cannot be bought for a price. The price was already paid on Calvary by our Savior. My grandfather lived for many a year after that.

In the mid 1960's I was very sick with a very painful ear infection and it just about had the best of me. I could not stand much more of it. I asked my father to pray for me because I knew what the Lord did for my grandfather. I had been going to church long enough to see many healings and the power of God. I also knew that my dad was close to the Lord. He was and still is the kind of man that prays and reads his Bible constantly. My dad came to my bedside and prayed for me. Well let me say this: Something happen and now I know He touched me and made me whole! I no longer had that pain and the next day I was like new. If my Jesus will do it for me He will do it for you. Put your trust as I did in the man from Galilee1 I no longer just witnessed people being healed, I was now in that group of people that could say "by His strips I was Healed!"

In the late 1960 my family and some friends of ours were at a small church one night to hear my father preach. After the preaching was over there was a alter call and people got in line to be prayed for. This one young girl around sixteen who I knew all my life was in the line and as she got closer to my father she started to foam at the mouth and then she started to talk in a man's voice. I did not know what to think. By the time that she got up to my dad she was trying to claw and scratch him but for some reason she could not claw him nor get anywhere near him and that reason was because dad was covered by the blood of the lamb. He had and still does have a close walk with the Lord. He reached out his hand and rebuked that demon that was in this girl and she fell to the floor rolling and foaming at the mouth. After she got up, which was quite a while later, she was in her right mind and free of that demon. She was a young lady that would not fake. Oh my friends yes there is power in that wonderful name of Jesus. I feel His presence so strong as I testify of these healings.

In the mid 1980's I was in a church service at my father's church where he is the pastor and we were having a evangelist speak that night. The evangelist was my brother. I was having real bad pains in my chest to the point that I was just about ready to get up and leave. That is how bad the pain was. I never told a soul, not even my wife. I was not making any kind of faces to let anyone know of my pain. At that time the evangelist walked up the middle of the church going to the pulpit and after he passed the row I was seated in he turn around and pointed at me. He then said in the name of Jesus Christ that pain in your chest is gone and it was gone just that quick. Now that was the Holy Ghost in action. He not only showed the evangelist my condition, but the power was also there to heal me. I can never thank God enough for the times that he has healed and delivered me. So once again I can testify: By His Strips I was Healed! Just a closer walk with my Master is all I want.

In the late 1980's or early 1990's my church went to a revival in a small town called Laurel, Delaware to hear a evangelist, who was a full blooded Indian preacher from somewhere in the south. His name was Richard Hall. After the preaching the preacher called out a man whose wife went to our church and told him that he had a hearing problem. This was so. The man did have a hearing problem but no one there knew of it except of our local church. Brother Hall did not know him. He was not wearing a hearing aid so the only way the evangelist could have known about the hearing problem is if the Lord revealed to him the problem. The evangelist prayed for this man and he was instantly healed and heard out of that ear till he went to be with the Lord years later. I witnessed this and it will forever be with me. Where the Spirit of The Lord is there is liberty!

I could tell of more healings that I witnessed but I think that I have gave you enough for you to see that Jesus is still in the healing business and He will heal you, because my Lord is no respecter of persons and what he has done for others he will do for you. Just have that faith as a grain of mustard seed and then let faith arise in your soul. It was never Our Lord's purpose and goal for us to live with diseases, sickness, and infirmities. They are the result of Satan and the wickedness and transgressions of man. Every time there is a healing from the Lord some of Satan's work is destroyed. In plain words there is both sin and sickness which comes from the devil or healing and forgiveness that comes from God Just as if we had sin in our life if we repent God will forgive us and it is the same way with sickness. God will heal us.

The controversy over the question of: "Is healing still for today" still is deeply debated and most often denied in our churches today. This is a shame. Most churches believe in salvation and being saved but not healing. They believe that healing is an untrue belief, a myth, or a misleading notion. Here is a thought for you to think about. When Jesus was on the earth He healed and saved many a person. The healings were accepted in most part by the church of that day, but not the forgiveness of sin. The church is just the opposite today. They believe in salvation for the soul but not physical healing. What happened to change all this? Is it because God does not love man today as He did in Bible times? Is it because that He made no conditions or ways for healing in today's world? Is it because the atonement has failed us in today's world? Is it because the promises of God are untrue? Heaven forbid no! "By His strips we are healed" Is it because prayer to our Lord is not the same as it ever was? Is it because God loves us less today? Is it because the Bible is not accurate? Think about all these questions that I have just put to you.

Here are my thoughts about the questions that I just asked. Most of the churches have changed. Notice that I said most of the churches. There are still some who stand on all the word of God. We still have some Peter and Paul's left that still uphold all the atonement and all the promises of God. Most churches refuse to carry on the gospel program that was started by Christ and promised to all believers down through the ages. We must have churches that will preach a healing message so that faith can rise in your soul. We must be believers' and not unbelievers of the word.

I want to give you this illustration. I'm an electrician by trade. I can wire a house for electric so you can have the things that you need in today's world. Things like the microwave, lights, hot water, air conditioning, TV, dishwasher, and many other modern conveniences, but if the electric company does not hook up to my electric wiring and make the connection, if you deny them the right to give you the power, when you throw the switch nothing will work. You will have nothing. Everything is there but the power. If you have the power from the electric company then everything will work when it is needed. That is the same way in the most of our churches today. Everything is in place but the power. We have a power outage in most of our churches! There is an outward appearance and a form of Godliness, but they deny and reject the power and authority from on high. It is the same thing as sitting in your house with all the conveniences named above but no power to operate them. It looks like you have everything, but you don't. Personally I want everything that God has for me. Just as I want the power to work in my house when it is needed, I want to go to a church where the power of God is manifested and is very clearly at work as it should be! It makes no difference if it is three members or three hundred members as long as Christ my Lord is there!
